Making mistakes

I’m a big believer in making my own mistakes. That’s when I learn the most and it creates the most obvious reason for me not to make the same mistake again.

When somebody else tells us not to make one of their mistakes, it’s much harder. How can you be convinced not to touch the kettle when you’ve never experienced heat?

I’d rather learn from other people’s mistakes, but my 4 and 2 year olds can certainly attest to having to learn some lessons the hard way. Like why Dad kept telling them not to climb on their window sills. Here’s my mistake for the week.Always check the BSB you put on your invoices against the numbers on your online account and/or a printed statement. And then check it again. and then check it again before you send out 6 invoices in a row with the wrong BSB. Avoid using the little card they give you to stuff in your wallet. There’s a good chance you wrote it down wrong.

Hmm, interesting thing about the back link Bret, it should create a proper link. I’ve done some very amateur hacking to this theme so maybe I’ve broken something 🙂 Thanks for the comments!
